Just 4 ingredients and no cooking time!
Your favourite chocolate (darker the better for me)
Prunes no stones
Whole almonds ( or any other nut and can add seeds too)
Ginger fresh or crystallised
I blend down the first 3 ingredient in equal portions in my blender , then add to taste grated fresh ginger or blended down crystallised ginger ( wash off the sugar) then stir it all together and then I roll little balls with one hand or if too messy flatten it out with a rolling pin and cut or shape it.
For an extra touch then you can roll them in sesame seeds and or melted chocolate. No baking required, just hide them away in the fridge and if you have good self control they last for a long time or share them with others. Change the ingredients around for a different taste or if you are not a fan of one of them.
A great way to make your chocolate go further and to decrease sugar intake whilst having something sweet and with more protein! Not for night time if you are light sleeper as ginger is a stimulate and dark chocolate too. Enjoy xx
